Bloomsday Update
Only a brief addition today as the only runner since the last posting was FLEMEN’S TIPPLE finishing third at Huntingdon’s final meeting of spring. He ran solidly and only narrowly missed out on second, but the winner really burst into life for the race and there was probably not anything that he could have done differently to turn the result around. After two races in quick succession he earned some time to freshen up and we are looking to get him out again in late June or early July.
Bloomsday, since everyone is surely wondering, is celebrated in Dublin to commemorate the works of James Joyce, the date aligning to the events in “Ulysses” all taking place on June 16th.
