Horses for sale
Flemen’s Tipple
7 year old bay gelding, by Flemensfirth, out of Marie Des Ange. *** 1 share remains ***
An arrival in early 2022, he ran twice in bumpers in Ireland, showing a bit of inexperience on debut (every horse in front of him has won at least once since) then putting up a good display to be beaten only six lengths at Limerick just after Christmas. He has finished second, by half a length each time, in his last two races (both staying hurdles) and will be a nice chase prospect for 2023/24. As far as breeding goes, he is by a top jumps sire and his dam won seven times, including half a dozen chases before retiring late in 2015 – Flemen’s Tipple is her first foal to race. Get in touch by phone or email to arrange a viewing of this fine prospect.
Cost: £4,000 per 12.5% share + VAT (1 available).
La Dolce Dolly
5 year old bay mare, by Milan, out of Monbeg Dolly
She made her Irish pointing debut this spring and cruised round, sprinting clear from the second last for ten lengths win. A big mare with oodles of scope, we are quite excited to have got her. Quite a relaxed mare too.
Cost: P.O.A (1 available)
Yasmina
4 year bay filly, by Iffraaj, out of Wilamina
Three times raced on the flat, finishing once each at second, third and fourth, she has recently been purchased as a potential jumper – her dam was a Group 3 winning miler but also won at Listed level over a mile and a quarter. Iffraaj has produced plenty of winning jumpers, and she should be capable of adding to that tally.
Cost: P.O.A
Privatearing
8 year old bay gelding, by Black Sam Bellamy, out of Diamond Dee.
He has finished runner-up in a strong Fontwell novice hurdle and is now ready to try out distances of around three miles and chasing too. His dam ran twice over hurdles, placed both times, including behind Triumph Hurdle winner Barizan.
Cost: £400 per 5% share
“Micky”
4 year old bay gelding, by Pether’s Moon, out of Molly Potter.
An unbroken recent acquisition, the earliest that he will be seen on a racecourse is the late in the 2023/24 season. His sire was a Coronation Cup winner and has already has jump winners in the book, despite his oldest offspring being only six years old in 2023. Molly Potter did not race but her dam line produced Denman, Silverburn and Potterman, which means that Micky is from the same family as recent record sales purchase Regent’s Stroll.
Cost: £2,000 per 10% share (an option for a one off payment for a share plus all costs up until his racing debut is available).
