Mid November 2023 Bulletin
A couple of runners this week and both finished third. Wily old veteran SHAW’S CROSS made a very solid debut for us at Fakenham, just being outpaced from the second last, after he had helped scare half the opposition into defeat. He saw out the race to the line, and that should have teed him up nicely for the to-be-chosen next race. The following day, at Lingfield, GOLD CLAREMONT ran a similar sort of race over hurdles. Initially we were concerned that the ground would not be quite soft enough for a good show, but the weather was on our side and it was perfect by the time she ran in the last. She too was tapped for toe when the first two quickened entering the straight, but she stayed on to grab third near the post.
We are hoping to get BROWN BULLET, CLONDAW ROBIN and BIRDMAN BOB out at the southern jumping carnival where Fontwell, Plumpton and Lingfield race between Sunday and Tuesday next week – all have multiple entries.

Congratulations on success of Birdman Bob today. Great to get that first winner of the season on the board.

Thanks very much. Most of the horses have run pretty well first time out, so hopefully some of them will take that little step up in the next couple of months!
